Saturday, July 19
4:00–10:00pm

Public Disco and SLAB return to the City Centre Artist Lodge for what may be the final time before redevelopment. We’re bringing top-tier house music back to our favourite motel lot for a full day of open-air music.

This edition of our Summer Block Parties brings together artists from across North America, with headlining sets from Soul Clap (New York) and Ash Lauryn (Detroit/Atlanta), alongside Vancouver favourites Max Ulis, DJ dood, and Sayang. Curated by Max Ulis, the lineup reflects a deep love for dance music that connects cities, scenes, and communities through sound.

Part of the 2025 Public Disco Summer Block Parties presented by 2 Hoots Hard Iced Tea.

✦ LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

At Public Disco Society, we recognize that our events and gatherings primarily take place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. We honor and respect the Indigenous peoples who have stewarded these lands for generations and continue to do so today. We acknowledge that the land on which we operate, celebrate, and build community is stolen land. Our events and parties are held in public spaces that have been home to Indigenous Nations long before the arrival of settlers. As team members, it is our responsibility to tread softly on the land and respect it, always leaving the spaces we occupy better than how we found them. We encourage all members of our community to take this acknowledgment to heart, reflect on its significance, and actively engage in respectful and meaningful actions that support Indigenous sovereignty and rights.

✦ ABOUT PUBLIC DISCO

Public Disco Society is a registered non profit organization that reclaims public space for dance music, creating inclusive environments where people can gather, connect, and celebrate. Rooted in the underground ethos that shaped dance music culture, our events bring the energy of the club into public spaces - making space for community expression, cultural connection, and shared celebration.
